At the beginning of his career, in the 1990s, Mr Fišers was more engaged in installation, whereas, in
the 2000s, he focused on monumental painting, graphics and wood engravings. M. Fišers considers art a medium which carries a certain story and content, therefore his works are filled with visual
narratives. He is interested in extraordinary, otherworldly topics and the impact of external factors
on human existence. Frequently his works are based on topics like scientific fantasy, conspiracy
theories, space, fear, religion, narcotics, aliens and sexuality.
