On April 22–25, the Baltic Dance Platform will gather in Vilnius twenty-three dance projects, including eight performances, three open studio presentations, and twelve pitches, bringing together artists and professionals from across the region.
We are pleased to support the contemporary dance performance “Voluntary Servitude” by Vladimirs Goršantovs as part of Baltic Dance Platform.
“Voluntary Servitude” is a dark ironic journey that begins in the realm of the simplest components of the microworld and evolves into the socio-political processes of today’s world, where competition, power plays, and cheap thrills prevail. This bold and thought-provoking performance is not to be missed. The viewing took place in Vilnius on April 23, 2026, within the programme of Baltic Dance Platform.
Vladimirs Goršantovs is a contemporary dance choreographer and performer, and a member of the dance company “SIXTH”, actively working across Latvian theatre and contemporary performing arts. His work is driven by emotional intensity and an interest in the capabilities and limitations of the body, often combining elements of pop culture and rave music with personal experience.
