VV Foundation is pleased to support “Solidarity in Flux: Cross-Baltic Collaboration – Performance and Discussion Programme”, taking place in Venice on 20 November during the closing days of the Biennale.

Initiated by the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art in collaboration with the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art and the National Gallery of Art in Lithuania, with support from the Baltic Culture Fund, the programme explores contemporary forms of solidarity, collective action and regional collaboration across the Baltics and beyond.

Against the backdrop of debates surrounding Russian and Israeli participation at this year’s Biennale, the cross-Baltic performance and discussion programme “Solidarity in Flux” questions the lessons learned and highlights importance of shared resilience. It advances conversations on power, truth, and institutional accountability while examining the forms and limits of collective action in today’s fragmented geopolitical landscape.

Bringing together performance, visual storytelling and discussion, the programme features artists Jana Jacuka, Agnė Bagdžiūnaitė and Maria Wrang-Rasmussen. The performances will be followed by a panel discussion with invited speakers from the Baltics and Central and Eastern Europe.

Through its support, VV Foundation continues its work to strengthen the international presence of Baltic contemporary art.
