We are delighted to share that an artwork from the VV Foundation collection, Organizators by Kate Krolle and Reinis Bērziņš, has been selected as Artwork of the Year at the inaugural Latvian Annual Art Award.

Originally presented at Smilga Gallery in 2025, Organizators was recognised as “a sincere and familial artwork that speaks to the interaction between human and artistic practice and their coexistence.” We warmly congratulate Kate Krolle and Reinis Bērziņš on this achievement!

The inaugural Latvian Annual Art Award marks an important milestone, elevating the role of contemporary art in Latvia and recognising the year’s most notable events and figures. We are pleased to be part of this moment.

The VV Foundation collection includes more than 400 artworks by Baltic and international artists, spanning from the 1980s to the present day – from contemporary classics to emerging voices.
