The Ezera Skaņas festival will take place this year on the morning of 26 July. This event, a synthesis of art and nature, will unfold on Lake Kāla, located in Vestiena parish, Madona region.

Ezera Skaņas is a unique event that begins in the middle of the lake before sunrise — at 3:30 AM.
Audience members set out onto the lake in boats, surrounded by darkness and silence, until a floating stage appears and the first sounds of music begin to rise. The music intensifies with the coming light and culminates as the sun rises.
The event has a meditative character, reflecting on the space between dreaming and wakefulness within an untouched natural landscape.

After the sunrise performance, the festival continues onshore at the Festen harbour and becomes a weekend-long event, lasting until the morning of 28 July.
The festival site will host both acoustic and electronic music stages, and visitors will have the option to camp by the lakeside.

Now in its 11th edition, Ezera Skaņas has become a cult event dedicated to the union of art and nature. It is a non-commercial festival, focused on artistic concepts and free creative expression.
To ensure the full experience of the artistic vision, Ezera Skaņas is intended for only a few hundred people — early ticket purchase is strongly recommended.

Visitors may arrive on 25 July from 8:00 PM.
Boat rental is not included in the ticket price, but can be reserved through Ezera Skaņas. The rental includes life jackets and oars.

Visitors arriving from guest houses or other access points on the lake are required to purchase “Guest Harbour” tickets.
Entry is free for people with disabilities and for children under 12 years of age.
