In his creative activity, Miķelis Mūrnieks uses references to the ready-made art genre creating objects and installations using recognisable materials and forms. What has become one of the main means of expression of Miķelis Mūrnieks is social criticism corresponding to the contemporary culture, permeated by an ironic nature which analyses society.
