A Tear of a Falling Star

Rūdolfs Štamers uses industrial materials activating fragile and sensitive topics in the centre of which reality and dream worlds collide, where the states of mind are used as tools. Installations and sculptures of Mr Štamers are frequently created as visual fictions and reflections of absurd situations. The material used becomes a significant element in these works — materials bought at household goods shops, paint and various found items.
