Laura Põld

Laura Põld is Estonian contemporary artist. She was born in Tallinn, Estonia. Põld graduated the department of Ceramics of the Estonian Academy of Arts (2007), the department of Painting of the University of Tartu (2010) and the Department of Sculptural Conceptions and Ceramics of the University of Art and Design Linz (2021).
Põld is currently based in Tallinn and Vienna, working as an Associate Professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Department of Installation and Sculpture. She has held multiple solo, duo and group exhibitions in Estonia and abroad and has been awarded with a number of prizes and scholarships such as Claus Michaletz Preis, (2021), The Grand Prize in Visual and applied arts of Cultural Endowment of Estonia (2018) and Köler Prize grand prix (2016).
