Katrina Biksone

1999, Latvia

Katrina Biksone (1999) is a young artist from Riga, Latvia. She has graduated from the Janis Rozentāls Art High School and the Latvian Academy of Arts’ Painting Department. In 2021 and 2022, she also studied at the Academy of Arts in Rome and Michael Riedel’s Painting in the Context of Fine Arts course at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts, as well as participated in the KUNO network express course at the Nida Art Colony. Since 2017, she has participated in exhibitions in Latvia and Europe. In 2023, she was awarded the Nordic and Baltic Young Artist Award 2023 as the best young painter.
