Alise Gaile (b. 2004, Riga) is a Latvian artist whose practice centres on painting. Her intuitive works explore mystery and vulnerability, which she sees as essential signs of a meaningful life. Drawing on personal relationships and everyday situations, Gaile translates experienced visual and emotional resonances into painted images.

She participated in Erasmus+ programmes at Escola Artística de Soares dos Reis in Porto and Rijn Ijssel in Arnhem. She is currently based in the Netherlands and studies Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

Gaile has participated in exhibitions and art events in Latvia since 2022 and held her first solo exhibition, Seeking Comfort from an Older Sister, in 2025. She received recognition from the Latvian Ministry of Culture for her achievements at the 2025 International Plastic Arts Competition in Troyes, France, and was awarded the Aija Jurjāne Scholarship for Young Painters in 2024.
