Miķelis Mūrnieks

Miķelis Mūrnieks (1995) has graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia Visual Communication Department and currently studies in the master’s programme at Sandberg Instituut, the Netherlands. Since 2016, he has been participating in group exhibitions, including the Sculpture Quadriennal 2020 and the project “Synthesis. Research of Reality Through Movement, Development and Contradiction”. Mr Mūrnieks has organised three solo exhibitions and participated in the duo exhibition at the Low gallery (together with K. Mežecka) in 2022. His work “Art to Win” has been included in the collection of the art centre Zuzeum.
