The art scientist Laine Kristberga will read the lecture “Performance Art on Both Sides of the Iron Curtain: Socially Political Context and Challenges”, addressing the origin context of performance art both in the Western art discourse and in the local time space, namely in the soviet occupation regime. Comparing the parallels and differences, Kristberga will analyse challenges of performance artists, working in such ephemeral art discipline as performance.
